Terms of Sale

The Terms of Sale and Refund apply to purchases ("Vouchers") for activities, adventures, and experiences made by action hopper's merchant partners ("Merchants"), booking and scheduling various activities, experiences, and adventures (“Action Hopper Advance”).

Voucher Purchases - The Fine Print

Voucher purchases can be made by users without sign in to ACTION HOPPER account. You can also create an account by either using Facebook Connect or by signing up for a ACTION HOPPER user account at actionhopper.com while you are making your purchase.

Vouchers can be applied only to the specific activity offered by Merchant.

Limit one (1) Voucher per redemption. Only one Voucher can be used per order unless otherwise specified by the applicable Merchant.

Vouchers have no cash value. If used for items of lesser value, cash will not be refunded by ACTION HOPPER. Merchant refunds are at the applicable Merchant's sole discretion.

If you redeem a Voucher for less than its face value, you will not be entitled to a credit, cash or a new Voucher equal to the difference between the face value and the amount you redeemed, unless otherwise required by law. You will only be entitled to a continuing redemption value as noted above if the amount that you paid for a Voucher exceeds the amount you redeemed. Continuing redemptions are the responsibility of the applicable Merchant (not ACTION HOPPER).

Vouchers cannot be combined with any other vouchers, third party certificates, coupons, or promotions, unless otherwise specified by applicable Merchant.

Neither ACTION HOPPER nor the Merchants are responsible for lost or stolen Vouchers or Voucher reference numbers.

Voucher Refunds

General Refunds

Except as explicitly stated otherwise in the “Special Terms” section of a specific experience, if you change your mind about your experience purchase, just write us at help@actionhopper.com within ten (10) days and ACTION HOPPER will refund the amount paid for any unredeemed Voucher to the original form of payment. For Getaway experiences that require you to pick a specific date or range of dates on which to redeem the Voucher, you may return the unredeemed Voucher within 24 hours of your purchase for a full refund. Thereafter, your purchase will be final and ACTION HOPPER will not grant any refunds unless otherwise stated in the Terms of Sale.

We want to make sure that every customer has an exceptional experience. If you redeem your ACTION HOPPER experience and feel that the activity was not as described on our website, let us know, and we’ll issue you a refund.

Merchant Out of Business

In addition, ACTION HOPPER will always honor your request for a refund in the unlikely event that a merchant goes out of business before the Voucher expiration date.

Merchant Issues

If you are having difficulty redeeming your purchase, simply email us at help@actionhopper.com, and our team will do everything they can to make it right. In addition, ACTION HOPPER will always honor your request for a refund if contacted prior to the expiration date of your voucher.

Voucher Expiration

The expiration date of your voucher is listed under the “Special Terms” section of the experience webpage. Once your voucher reaches the expiration date, it loses its value and ACTION HOPPER will not be able to issue a refund. However, the Merchant is responsible for permitting you to redeem the voucher for at least the amount paid, even after the promotional value has expired. What does that mean? Vouchers have two separate values: (a) the “amount paid” and (b) the promotional value. The “promotional value” is the additional value beyond the amount paid. For example, if you pay $20 for a voucher that entitles you to $50 of services from a Merchant, the amount paid is $20 (this amount does not expire until it is used or is refunded), and the promotional value is $30 (this amount expires on the date stated on the voucher unless expiration of the promotional value is prohibited by law).

Date-specific Offers

No full or partial refunds are given to customers who fail to redeem a date-specific experience on the date(s) specified on the Voucher. If for some reason the Date-Specific experience is canceled or rescheduled by ACTION HOPPER or the Merchant, ACTION HOPPER will send you an email notifying you of such cancelation or rescheduling. If the Date-Specific experience is rescheduled, the email to you will include the new date for the Date-Specific experience. If you cannot make the new date for the Date-Specific experience, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid upon request. If, however, the Date-Specific experience is canceled and will not be rescheduled, ACTION HOPPER will automatically refund you the amount paid.

ACTION HOPPER Advance

With regard to the ACTION HOPPER Advance, Company accepts payments through the payment methods detailed on the applicable payment screen. Charges occur at the time of purchase or shortly thereafter. Company does not accept payment forms other than those specified on the applicable payment screen. User agrees to pay for its purchases through ACTION HOPPER Advance and agrees that Company may charge User’s selected payment instrument for any such payments. Company reserves the right to charge additional fees and service charges that may be charged to customers in connection with transactions on the Travel Service. Payments will be listed as “ACTION HOPPER888-9694123” on your credit card statement.

ACTION HOPPER Advance Refunds, Cancellations, Changes to Bookings

This section explains Company’s refund, cancellation and related policies related to booking and scheduling activities, adventures and experiences (“Experiences”) through ACTION HOPPER Advance.

No refunds will be provided after the occurrence of a scheduled Experience, whether or not User actually participated in the Trip, except as provided in ACTION HOPPER’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee described in the Voucher Purchases section above. Service fees paid through ACTION HOPPER Advance are non-refundable.

Cancellations of an Experience made 72 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of the Experience, as listed in User’s e-mail confirmation, will be refunded in full by Company. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance of commencement of the Experience, except as expressly provided otherwise herein.

All changes to the date or time of a scheduled Experience are subject to the Merchant's availability. Up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled commencement of User’s Experience and subject to availability, User may change the date or time of the Experience at no charge. If there is no availability, User may still have the right to cancel and receive a refund under this section. Within 72 hours of the scheduled commencement of Merchant’s Experience, User may change the time or date of its Experience under certain circumstances and subject to availability, but additional change fees may apply. By changing the time or date of User’s Experience within 72 hours of its scheduled commencement, User relinquishes any right to a refund under this section.
